Hungarian Post Offices 1867: 5 soldi red, a fine horizontal pair used on 1868 cover to Pest, neatly tied
by BUCHAREST cds (17/6) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 715). Pest arrival datestamp and sender’s wafer
seal on reverse of an attractive and very scarce cover. Signed G. Colla, U. Ferchenbauer and E. Müller.

1906 Picture postcard showing the cabins of the resort, sent on 15 July 1906 from Hohe Rinne via
Keresztnysziget (Cristian) to Brasso (now Brașov), arriving 17 July. Franked with a perforated 1903
2 heller black-on-pink Hotel Post stamp (4th Issue), in combination with a 5 filler Hungarian Turul
definitive. The Hotel Post stamp paid for private transport from the mountain resort to the nearest state
post office at Keresztnysziget/Cristian, while the Turul stamp covered the state postal service. A fine
and scarce mixed franking from this early Carpathian resort. Ref. Austria-Hungary, Romania.

1908 Austria-Hungary 10f stationery lettercard, bearing on the reverse the 1906 5 heller black on
green stamp, cancelled by the round postmark in violet. Philatelic souvenir, the item was not circulated,
