Introduction
Dear Collectors and Clients,
Continuing our proud tradition of Egyptian auctions, we are delighted to present
another event showcasing collections and individual rarities from over a dozen
esteemed consignors. This fine sale celebrates Egypt’s rich philatelic heritage,
offering a superb selection of items that trace the nation’s fascinating postal history.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to acquire some of these rare and historically
significant pieces.
The auction will take place on December 5, 2025, at 14:00 CET, with live bidding
available on our website.
Highlights include early postal history featuring Foreign Post Offices, particularly
important Austrian Offices, alongside fine selections of British, French, Greek, Italian
and Russian material, as well as Egypt Used Abroad. The sale also offers key proofs,
essays, stamps and postal history from strength in Fourth Issue, Pictorial and Crown
overprints from the Chalhoub collection, as well as issues from the reigns of King
Fouad I and King Farouk.
The auction features a diverse selection of mint and used singles, multiples, varieties,
plate flaws and an extensive array of postal history. Many of the 380 lots originate
from prestigious collections, making this a truly unmissable event. Catalogue values
are based on the new 2025 edition of The Nile Post.
At David Feldman, we remain committed to presenting and promoting each consign-
ment with the utmost care and expertise. We warmly invite you to participate, whether
in person or online, and to explore the extraordinary lots on offer.
We wish you every success in your bidding and great satisfaction with your acquisitions.
