‘Salvaged from crashed aircraft” overstruck with violet handstamp ‘Received in this Condition’. The
stamp is not the original one used but one salvaged from the disaster, it is also tied by the violet
handstamp, without backstamps, some water damage

with 18 stamps from the 1878-90 issues lightly cancelled by “B63” numerals (cert. RPS 2014), also
1860-63 9d, 1862 6d slate (cert. BPA 2002), 1863-72 1d, 2d pale and bright blues, 1s orange, 1878
issues incl. 4c on 1d (cert. BPA 2022) and 2R50c on 1s, etc., a very good lot of these difficult to find
stamps (S.G. £3’600+).
