postal stationery comprising ½d. card, ½d. and 1d. reply cards (both divided), ½d. and 1d. envelopes,

4d. registered envelope and ½d. wrapper, all overprinted “SPECIMEN”, and ½d. on 1d. card unused;

to Camp Diyatalawa, Ceylon, 1926 internal Bloemfontein cover with both 4d ‘Hope’ used first day of

issue, group of 1930s 1d springbok essays, 1930s mail including undated 2d sample envelope Port

Elizabeth to Durban, some 1920-30s stamps plus some later 1950s, an interesting mix.

up on 71 album pages, showing singles, multiples, shades, plate varieties, watermark varieties, tête-

bêche pairs, cancels, postage dues, with values from 1/2d to £1, mixed to very fine, an excellent basis

for study and great potential to expand into an exhibit collection (100’s).
