1917 War Tax 1d red in marginal horizontal strip of 12 unused without gum, the central pair showing

‘ovpt omitted (in pair with normal)’, the two stamps to the left show small traces of the opt at top, then 3

are without opt. The 5 stamps to the right are ‘normal’ examples. A most attractive and scarce multiple.

reprinted die proofs of the Queen’s head in orange on pink and orange on green paper, 1900 Wmk

Crown CA set of 9 values to 3s and 1905 3d mint overprinted SPECIMEN, fine (S.G. £325), 1909 Wmk

Mult Crown CA 1/2d yellow-green mint (2) with watermarks both reversed and inverted and reversed,

also 2 1/2d blue mint wmk reversed and 1s black on green mint wmk inverted, a fine group (S.G. £530),

1917 War Tax 3d purple on yellow mint, lightly mounted, with variety ‘ovpt double, one inverted’, fine

(S.G. £350), 1922-26 1/4d to 3s (missing 1 1/2d) with “SPECIMEN” overprints in strips of three affixed

to small pieces, probably from a UPU archive, 6d with a slightly trimmed corner, useful mixture.
