1864 complete envelope sent from Kibworth Harcourt to Bern in Switzerland, dated 25 Aug.,
bearing 1854 2d blue and 1863 4d red (pl. 4), both struck by clear duplex B66. Envelope with full
content preserved, endorsed ‘Via France’ , and struck with red PD and French Calais transit of 26
Aug. Various transit stamps on reverse, and Berne arrival 28 Aug. A very charming, small envelope
with clear postmarks and stamps of excellent colour; envelope with a small tear to front and the 4d
stamp pos. FE scissor cut at right margin.
