1902 KEVII 1d blue ‘ECKERLIN’ printing style proofs produced in 1920´s, one sheet of 25 on

ungummed paper without watermark and another on gummed paper with watermark, produced in

Germany in order to promote Dr. Eckerlin’s rotary press process for intaglio printing (developed by

Herbst & Illig in Germany) to the British Post. The gummed sheet with watermark is believed to be

unique, great exhibition item.

1901 6d. composite “Paste Up” essay of the Victorian “Jubilee” series, Series A essay with a lithographed

three quarter portrait of King Edward VII, mounted on thick card and cut slightly larger than stamp size,

extremely rare with only two or three examples of each believed to be in private hands. Ex Stothert.
