Jalapa ovpt), Oaxaca, Colima, Jalapa, Puebla, Guanajuato, Colima (with Guadalajara ovpt), Morelia on
1R margin pair, Colima (with 2R w. Morelia ovpt), Orizava on 1R pair, Puebla Franco; 1870-1872 group
of 8 covers all franked ‘full face’ Hidalgo issue, mostly from 1870, noted v.nice postmarks of PUEBLA,
MEXICO, VERA CRUZ, VALLE DE SANTIAGO, ORIZAVA, mostly franked 25c blue, 2 covers with pairs of
12c green and all are type II covers; 1872-74 selection of 8 covers all franked Hidalgo ‘to the left’ issue
incl. postmarks of San Louis Potosi, OAXACA, S.LUIS POTOSI, TAMPICO, TLACOTALPAN, TEHUACAN,
LEON, etc.; 1874-1882 selection of 19 covers all franked Hidalgo perforated issue, noted ORIZAVA,
MINATITLAN, OTATITLAN, TLACOTALPAM, TUXTLA, PUEBLA, TEHUACAN (blue), SANTIAGO-TUXTLA,
COAPILLA, TEZIUTLAN, MORELIA, grill pmk with violet MEXICO, MONTEREY, QUERETARO, 2 x scarce
lilac TEHUACAN, etc., a very nice and fresh specialist group.

#C74, 1935 20c Amelia Earhart, well centered, strong rich color, o.g., never hinged, no signature. Out
of block of four (copy of certificate enclosed). With only 300 printed in this fine quality a very rare and
desirable stamp!

issues to 1p with different District handstamps, Renta del timbre issues duplicated to early 1900s,
other types of just numerals ‘Especial de Aduanas’ in various designs with values to 500p; a fine
extensive accumulation, some mixed condition (Thousands).

various colour papers tied oval or circular date stamps, one by laurel wreath handstamp, each with a
certificate by MEPSI; some variable condition.

1931 Provisional Managua Earthquake overprint 15c on 25c black-brown mint (YT 9 €250) with about
190 printed, fine and signed Sanabria, 20c on 25c black-brown mint (YT 9a €900) with only 100
printed, very fine and signed Rendon, and 15c on 1c orange-red mint (YT 16 €270) with only 263
printed, very fine and signed Champion.
