cloth and flanked by two wheat stalks, legend around +OYAZHBAC BACIΛEYC. Reverse: +TOYTOAPECHTHXWPA

or similar (“may this please the country”), small draped bust to right, wearing head cloth; gilding within circular border

India, Gandhara Janapada, archaic silver punchmarked bent bar, six-armed symbol at either end of the bar, the

reverse is uniface. Four shatamana bars weighing 11.41 g, 9.18 g, 11.18 g, 11.24 g. One bar with banker’s mark in the

centre. Very fine.
