curly shoulder-length hair, wearing tailed tunic over loin cloth and leggings, standing left, holding longbow in left

hand, arrow in right, tall and slender Garuda standard at left, Brahmi legend under arm, skanda, circular Brahmi

legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo seated facing on lotus, holding diadem and lotus left, in left quadrant is a

treasure vessel with pearls flowing out, no tamgha, Brahmi legend Kramadityah. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, Class II, variant

VF, attractive well-centred obverse, crude strike on reverse, possible from a rusty die; a few edge and die cracks, with

Garuda standard at left, Brahmi legend under arm, skanda, circular Brahmi legend around, likely jayati mahītalaṃ

(skandaguptaḥ) sudhanvī (The excellent archer Skandagupta conquers the earth). Reverse: Lakshmi with halo and

necklace seated facing on lotus, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, treasure vessel with pearls flowing out

in left quadrant, Brahmi legend on reverse Kramadityah. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, Class II, variant C. Raven, SkG/group 2.

The variety with pearls flowing to the left of goddess on reverse, here represented very clearly.

VF, a good strike with some flattening of high points, well-centred, semi-lustrous, a cut on the edge at 8 o’clock position.
