draped bust of Artemis right, wearing stephane, hair gathered into knot at back of head, quiver and bow over shoulder.
Reverse: ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ, Nike in biga right, kentron in right hand, reins in left; ΕΥΦΗΜΟΣ below horses, ΠΑΥΣΑΝΙΟΥ
below ground line. EF+, struck from a rusty obverse die
A very scarce gold stater on the Attic weight standard of about 8.5 g. and of excellent Hellenistic style, signed by
Euphemos, a well-known Magnesian magistrate.

of Amphipolis, by Antipater, under Philip III Arrhidaeus, c. 323-317 BC. Obverse: head of Heracles right, wearing lion
skin headdress, paws tied before neck / BAΣ-IΛEΩΣ-AΛEΞANΔPOY. Reverse: Zeus seated left on backless throne, left
leg drawn back, feet on ground line, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; Phrygian cap in left field. Price 112.
EF GEM, expertly struck with sharp devices, high relief, and marvellous details, with luminous fields on excellent silver.

and type of Alexander III of Macedon, drachm 4.23 g. (17 mm). Obverse: head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin
headdress. Reverse: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟ(Υ), Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle in extended right hand and sceptre in
left hand, grain ear in left field. Price 1406. VF, a scratch on reverse in front of Zeus’ head.
