I 36. A rare coin with an attractive portrait of the youthful emperor.

With a dig in the reverse left field and some scratches and scuffs to the edge, visible from obverse and reverse,

indicating prior jewellery mounting, otherwise good very fine.

arm leaning on column, lifting right hand on head, star in left field. RIC 524.

EF-AU with razor-sharp, mint-state impression, showing exceptional detail on the emperor’s mantle and sceptre.
