very fine “6d” hs, reverse with Liverpool and London transits, Chatham arrival, 1891 (May 25) envelope
franked with 1887 6d Jubilee with a very good strike of “THE NIGER TERRITORIES / POST / OFFICE”
triple oval Akassa ds adjacent, the stamp cancelled in Liverpool in transit with cds adjacent, Ripon
arrival bs, very fine, and two 1890 incoming envelopes to the Church Missionary Society in Onitsha with
fine strikes of “THE NIGER TERRITORIES / POST / OFFICE” triple oval Akassa ds on arrival, one franked
with GB 1887 6d Jubilee tied by West Hartlepool duplex, and other with 4d Wroxall squared circle ds
(portion of backflap missing and peripheral cover faults, ex Glassco and still on original stockcard).

Lokoja: 1900 (Apr 31) 2d Registered envelope (size G) with Northern Nigeria 1900 1/2d (2) and 1d
tied by light Lokoja double oval ds, reverse with Forcados registered oval ds. a little ageing, extremely
scarce usage on a registered envelope from Lokoja and paying double the Imperial penny postage rate.
