1892-1950s, lovely old-time collection neatly written up in an album with Lagos, Niger Coast, Niger
Company, Southern Nigeria, Northern Nigeria and Crown Colony, with mint, used and some covers,
starting with 1892-94 Jubilee issue with some mint and used blocks of four, various cancels, two
registered envelopes incl. 2d + 1d from Old Calabar on size G and multiple philatelic franking on size H,
three postal stationery cards used, 1894 (Jan) issue incl. set on size H reg’d envelope, 1894 (May) and
1897-98 issues incl. 2d bisect on piece, cancellation interest and some mint blocks, Northern Nigeria
incl. 1900 10s mint (toned), 1900 cover with 1d tied by manuscript “Post Office / Jebba / 21/12/00”
and 1900 cover with 1d tied by “LOKOJA / POST OFFICE” oval, etc., a very useful lot full of interest for
a new collector or cancellation specialist, plus a few pages of French African colonies at back.
