Dorchester: 1840 2d blue, a remarkable assembly of the “Dorchester” town cancel, comprising, QG-
RG vertical reconstructed pair, both with good to very large margins and showing a fine central strike
in black, KB-KC horizontal pair, with large margins and showing a central strike leaving a clear profile
on the left hand example and RA used on entire letter, tied by a good strike in black; a magnificent trio
which would be next to impossible to replicate, and a superb exhibition page. Cert B.P.A for the cover
and horizontal pair. The cover ex Daisy.
