Kushanas, Vasudeva II, c. 275-300, AV dinar, 7.47 g. (23 mm). Obverse: Vasudeva, standing facing, head left with
conical helmet and diadem, sacrificing over altar and holding staff; trident to left, Bactrian inscription around and
Brahmi letter vasu in right field and additional Brahmi letter chu between king’s legs. Reverse: Ardoksho enthroned,
facing, holding cornucopia and diadem, tamgha left, Bactrian legend right APΔOXPO, within dotted border.
VF, large flan, smooth surfaces with legible script and some wear to high points on both sides. Ex Chand Collection

facing, holding cornucopia and diadem, tamgha left, all within dotted border.

conical helmet, sacrificing over altar and holding staff; trident to left, Brahmi letters or tamgha in right field, blundered
Bactrian inscription around. Reverse: Oesho standing, facing, holding trident and diadem, behind is the bull Nandi
standing left, Bactrian OHÞO to right, tamgha left, within dotted border.
A well-centered and finely detailed coin on an especially large flan.
