standing forward and with head turned to left, with long curls, long-tailed tunic over loin cloth. Goddess with halo
and necklace, left hand resting on knee with lotus flower and diadem in right hand. Legend śrīvikkramaḥ, tamgha at
top left. Kumar, TOTGE 2024 un-identified. Raven, CG3/Group 1.

and wearing long-tailed tunic over loin cloth next to Garuda standard with a crescent between king and standard, the
circular Brahmi legend did not reach the flan. Reverse: goddess seated on lotus and holding a fillet in right hand and
a lotus in left hand resting on knee, with a diamond tamgha next to her, legend srivikkramah. Kumar, TOTGE 2024,
Class III, variety T, 1 (ascribed to Chandragupta II). Raven, CG3/group 1.
VF, well-struck and centred, some good details on obverse strike including the king’s clothing and facial features;
some reduction of the edge perhaps stemming from earlier filing visible from obverse 3 o’clock. Ex Chand Collection
